What is the aim and purpose of this position?

The Digital & Ecommerce Assistant supports the Ecommerce and Brand Team in driving sales growth through our Ecommerce, Marketplace & Retail channels by assisting in the execution of the Activity Plan and rollout of Ecommerce Projects.

Activities required to achieve outcomes

  • Load digital assets to the web platform in line with Activity Plan
  • Merchandise products online
  • Manage technical support requests with development team
  • Review, Test & Assist with Ecommerce Roadmap
  • Range products on marketplace and external ecommerce channels
  • Update blogs, content and other website related assets
  • Increase on-site conversion rates
  •  Weekly Trade Reporting 
  •  Work with design and marketing to coordinate assets and prepare for web (HTML/CSS & Shopify)
  • Work with buying and merch teams for direction on merchandising via Excel Spreadsheets, POS and Shopify platforms
  • Work with Customer Service & Ecommerce to manage support tickets and projects
  • Load into Shopify/WIX all content as required
  • Work with Ecommerce to continually test and optimize website for conversions

 

Digital Marketing Coordination

  • Manage and execute paid advertising across Google, Facebook and Affiliates
  • Maintain a target ROAS across all campaigns
  • Create & Execute an EDM plan that aligns to the Activity Plan alongside the digital designer
  • Assist in execution of digital campaigns across all channels
  • Work with Marketing Manager on outreach campaigns (PR & Influencers)
  • Monitor customer related enquires and customer service

 

  • Setting up structure, optimized campaigns within digital marketing platforms.
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns regularly to drive revenue
  • Use the Activity Plan to ensure all assets are created and ready to be executed
  • Work with internal and external creative teams to coordinate assets
  • Creating SEO

     

    This role is the conduit between Brand, Product, Marketing and Ecommerce and helps bring all the relevant information from each department together to ensure consistent and timely execution of campaigns that deliver results.

    Objectives & Measures of Success

    • Driving website traffic in line with targets and budgets
    • Forward planning, having campaigns ready for approval before execution
    • Campaigns setup and loaded on time across all channels (Web, Digital, Marketplace & Instore)
    • Post campaign review reports compiled weekly/monthly
    • Consistent Follow up & Resolution of Website projects and Technical issues

    Qualifications, Experience and Competencies: (What background, knowledge, experience or competencies are required to perform the role at the expected level?)

     

    Essential

    ●               Highly organised and well planned

    ●               Experience with Microsoft excel and manipulating data from multiple sources

    ●               Experience in working with in retail and product information

    ●               Understanding of Ecommerce

     

    Desirable

    ●               Experience in setting up KPI

    ●               Understanding of all digital marketing channels including web, mobile and social media

    ●               Experience in updating website content

    ●               HTML / CSS Knowledge

    ●               Adobe Creative Suite Experience / Graphic Design Experience

    ●               Email Marketing Platform Usage (Klavyio)

    ●               IT or technical knowledge or understanding
